Saint Herman (BG)
Saint prince Herman
Now is ruddy, and previously as chalk
Herman was broken,
But by God's Providence again is whole
And every creature of God
Sings to him and pleases glance,
Saint Herman
Someone said, "Welcome"
And he replied, "The pleasure is mine, please"
Herman was screwed together,
Was seated in a cask and was taken far down
And the wind laughed from heavens
And a choir from the sky-high spheres
Sang: "Ah, sir Herman!"
Then he returned, but it's strange
The light was pouring from Heavens him on head.
As if barefoot in the tundra,
As if with an icon, which yet not there is.
He walked through life, like "скирд ламан скин
Лам скин будрах ламетан".
And all sang: "Saint Herman!"
Saint Herman came to Saint Peter
Sat down to the gatehouse and began to drink mixture
From here is direct way in list of saints and holidays,
But curiously enough, Herman is here again
Consolation to steeds in coat
The cause to all the wild flowers
To sing: "And our Herman was there!"
Saint prince Herman
Now is ruddy, and previously as chalk
Is lame, deaf and broken,
But by God's Providence again is whole
And every creature of God
Sings to him and pleases glance,
Saint Herman
